Metronomik’s No Straight Roads Confirms PC And Console Release In Late June

Publisher Sold Out and developer Metronomik have announced the upcoming release of No Straight Roads, a music-based action adventure game.

In No Straight Roads, players take control of the musicians of the independent rock group Mayday and Zuke in Vinyl City. After being rejected, the musicians work together to fight the EDM empire No Straight Roads. Along the way, the musicians discover the evil intentions of the empire, and now it’s up to them to save their city with the power of music.

The whole game focuses on using music and sound to fight back. Players can choose between Mayday or Duke, which each have unique weapons and musical attacks. The gameplay consists of attacking, jumping and moving freely to the rhythm of the music. Metronomik’s No Straight Roads Confirms PC And Console Release In Late June

The use of music can transform accessories and objects into weapons. During the game, the music plays rock or EDM rhythms to keep the experience interesting.

Eight levels focus on various musical genres with giant patterns. Players can complete a rock level only to get started in hip-hop or country music at the next level. The exact music genres for each level have yet to be revealed, but there are many to choose from for the game.

Throughout the game, players will upgrade their fighters with a skill tree to improve their abilities and ultimately defeat No Straight Roads.
