Team Solo Mid Extends Doublelift’s Contract Until November 2021 Following His Recent Signing On TSM
During the current off-season of League of Legends, TSM brought Doublelift back to the team after the 26-year-old spent two successful years with Team Liquid. The veteran won four LCS championships in a row before failing to make the playoffs in the 2020 Spring Split.
There have been multiple rumors and speculations as to why Doublelift and Liquid weakened so much last season. But the talented ADC released a video saying there was a lot of friction between him, members of Liquid’s list, and management due to his attitude at the start of the split.Team Solo Mid Extends Doublelift’s Contract Until November 2021 Following His Recent Signing On TSM
In fact, his lack of motivation to play put him on the bench halfway through the season. He was replaced by Liquid Academy AD Tactical for three games. Although he started to recover soon after his bench, it was much too late. The team finished the regular season in ninth place with an appalling 7-11 record.
Out of the playoffs and out of hope, Doublelift discussed ways to fix the team with Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet. The possibility of exchanges was finally raised and plans to switch to TSM were launched.
