Riot Games has been a bit late lately when it comes to releasing new content. While they were once known only for League of Legends, the developers have made a considerable effort to diversify their efforts on the gaming scene.
Of this new range of diversified attempts, Valorant is undoubtedly the one that has made the most splashes. Competitive PC-based shooter uses the techniques presented by other titles like Overwatch and CS: GO to create something more than the sum of its parts.
But should we stay on the computer forever, or will console gamers soon have a chance to participate and try the shooter? Anna Donlon, executive producer of Valorant, recently gave us some clues about the future. In a recent interview with GameSpot, Donlon discussed the possibilities of driving Valorant to a console port one day. Although there is nothing strictly in the works, Donlon says there are plans underway.
“We are definitely prototyping this right now, but there is a way to play this game and there is a way to experience this game that we are not entirely sure is to translate completely into console play”, a Donlon said in the interview.
